Yes, the LCN 4021 can allow up to a full 180-degree opening, but only when it is installed in the correct 4020-series top-jamb configuration, and the opening conditions allow it. LCN’s official 4020-series instructions state the closer permits 180° maximum opening, and the 4000-series catalog notes that 180° opening is with a regular arm when the frame/reveal setup is suitable.
