The Lonsdor K518 Pro appears to support Ford parameter reset on many 2017+ applications, but it should not be guaranteed for every 2017-and-newer Ford or every WCM replacement job. Lonsdor’s official software list shows Ford parameter reset coverage on multiple models, including Fiesta smart key 2014–2019 and other late-model Ford entries.
The important limitation is that some 2013+ Ford PATS functions, including parameter resets, may require NASTF/VSP credentials through Ford FJDS or FDRS. NASTF also notes that security functions on aftermarket tools depend on whether that specific tool manufacturer participates in the validation program. Verify the exact year/model and whether Ford/NASTF-authenticated access is required after the WCM replacement before promising the job.
