For SKU FKB-VOL-21, programming is not required if you are only replacing the flip key housing/blade portion and reusing your existing working Volvo remote/electronics. This item is a flip key unit for 2004–2009 Volvo S60 models and is intended to be used with a working remote. The blade portion will still need to be cut to match the vehicle.
