A licensed contractor is not specifically required by the Marks USA warranty language we found for SKU MRK-9215AC-3W-LHR. However, the warranty does exclude damage or defects caused by improper installation, improper application/specification, lack of maintenance, misuse, or unauthorized service. For that reason, installation should be done by someone qualified to install commercial exit hardware correctly.
