Andy Phelps is the National Training Manager at Alarm Lock. He has been a locksmith since 1991 and had owned his own company in the Nashville, TN area for 10 years before becoming the trainer for Alarm Lock

With a combined 38 years in security, I have experience in law enforcement and physical security. I now train users in the proper installation and use of the number one stand alone access control product in its class, Alarm Lock Trilogy.

Section 1 Trilogy T2 & T3 Manual Keypad Programming and DL Windows Software Overview

  • This section will cover
  • Application - what is the best lock for the right situation
  • Installation - hands on installation of different mountings
  • Keypad programming - how to program access codes, prox cards 
  • Software programming - how to program from your computer 
  • Time zone & Holiday scheduling - Events and how to handle audit trails
  • Helpful tips & tricks on the Trilogy T2 &T3 models.
  • All students attending this class will perform hands-on programming, using actual mounted units of the Trilogy T2 & T3 push button locks.
  • Alarm Locks intuitive software, DL Windows will be presented and mini access control system will be designed using real application scenarios.
Section 2 Alarm Lock - Networx Gateway Connectivity and DL Windows Software
  • This section focuses on the wireless & networked control of the advanced features of Alarm Lock Trilogy products
  • This section is hands on and will cover all aspects of DL Windows Software programming, including setting up a system with users, time zones, schedules, running an audit trail for the Networx products.
  • We will send/receive programming using our Laptops to Networx products. We will demonstrate the Networx - Global Emergency Commands to issue a “Lockdown” all locks within the system from the PC and/or from any lock within the system as if there was an emergency situation. The Global Emergency Commands can also be used to “Unlock” all locks within the system from the PC or any lock within the system.
