This tool uses a spring loaded ball bearing system and the pin chambers of the shell for perfect alignment every time. Cut down your loading time and your frustration with the EZ Load Spring and
Driver Reloading Tool. Because the tool aligns itself, all you need to do is start at the rear of the cylinder, drop a spring in, give it a shake and the spring will follow the V radius of the tool and drop into the pin chamber. Next drop in a driver, shake and the driver will drop in the chamber. Advance the tool to the next position and repeat the process until all chambers are complete.

MOST USEFUL Cylinder Servicing Tool, Price Tag is Worth it

Of all the many locksmithing tools + gadgets I've purchased over the years, the standout single most valuable specialist item is easily this, many have been useful but it's the winner by a substantial margin.

So unless you're a beginner, if you've just gone demolition man and blown up a cylinder, it's probably because you've got multiple things happening and are in some sort of stressful situation owing to time limitations, multiple people needing your attention simultaneously, etc.

And then it doesn't exactly get better once blown up because that task of rebuilding the cylinder driver pins and springs does require precision and focus and is additionally frustrating.

But (for short I'm calling it this) the Keedex EZ load all the needs for precision and attention evaporate, just pop the ball bearing into a pin chamber and drop the spring in, drop the driver pin in, use anything thats kinda long+flat to push it down and pop the bearing overtop of it.

It's not just that now you can rebuild a cylinder in a handful of seconds, you can rebuild a cylinder without really looking at it that much, so you can perform this task while, say, having a detailed technical discussion with a customer if you're in shop that retails to the public.

There's also zero chance, when you've replaced your follower with this (for most things it'll fit) that the cylinder's gonna get blown up because it unintentionally slides off while you've got the plug out.

All of a sudden, you no longer have to treat the things with gentleness+stability+caution, as a follower, once something is on the brass, it's not going to come off until you want it to.

This has a psychological effect, the way it allows you to work experiencing worry/concern over a blow-up, because a blow-up is no longer a frustrating experience reminding you that you failed to perform a task properly, now you suffer the consequences; And over time you'll find this incentivizes you do be more bold and daring in the way you do cylinder servicing in general, and fortune favors the bold. Favors with speedier acquisition of expertise as well as speedier completion of the task at hand.

Only caveat is make sure anyone you're training up suffers through the exercise of rebuilding cylinders the normal way FIRST, to make sure that skill gets learned and practiced a few times minimum, before introducing them to this device, because you still need training to result in a competent professional who isn't reliant on having the EZ Loader handy in case it's lost or temporarily misplaced.

Best follower to take the headache out of replacing springs and driver pins.

I have become pretty quick replacing springs and driver pins, with just an aluminum Sparrow's follower, and tweezers, but I thought "what the heck?".
Best $20 and change I have spent in quite some time.
It can turn the most novice apprentice into a re-pinning phenom!**

**Not really, but it will assist them in quicker core turnaround.
