The HIT-55 Drill Master 2 uses the same interchangeable guides for drilling latch holes as the HIT-50, The guided multi spur tower allows the use of standard 1/2” shank spur bits or remove the tower and use hole saws from both sides of the guide as an option. The jaws are rubber padded for both a better grip and to protect the door finish. The HIT-55 has a door thickness range from 1-3/8” to 2-3/4” with backset adjustable for 2-3/8”, 2-3/4”, 3-3/4" and 5”. Break out plates are provided for 1-1/2” and 2-1/8” hole sizes. The entire guide is machined from aluminum and anodized gray.
