The MS1880-05 Series Two-Point flush bolts offer greater convenience than flip-lever flush bolts as it is processed with one instead of two. It also promotes security by removing an element of human error. A positive locking device makes it impossible to turn the key in the active door unless the inactive leaf has first been secured. This two-point flush bolt must be installed in conjunction with a pivoted bolt MS deadlock. It cannot be unlocked when the pivoted bolt is in the locked position. For its operation turn the knob or lever 180 degrees clockwise to throw hardened steel bolts into the header and threshold and clear the strike opening so pivoted MS bolt can enter from the active door. Its counterclockwise turn retracts vertical bolts and blocks the entry of pivoted bolts.
