This emulator is used for all BMW E series steering locks. It can also be used for MINI, plug, and play with no programming. For BMW common faults include: opening the door with a remote key, trouble starting the car, red picture of the steering wheel lock appearing in the middle of the instrument, all these situations mean the direction lock was damaged. Some cars can work for some time after synchronized CAS&ELV, but the new ELV Emulator can solve for BMW and BMW mini cars' CAS2 /CAS3/CAS3+ which with direction lock function when they have the same faults. Take out the original direction lock plug, insert the emulator and you'll be able to start the car immediately, no need for programming.
Compatible with the following:
- E60, E84, E87, E90, E93 from year 2004 to 2014
- BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, X1, X3, X5. X6 etc with CAS2 and CAS3 systems.
