    Switch Kwikset Smartkey kw1 to sc1

    These are good to have in stock to match Kwikset Smartkey hardware that’s in kw1 keyway to sc1 keyway. This particular sc1 cylinder works in most Kwikset Smartkey deadbolts. If the tailpiece isn’t the right length you can reuse the old one from the original kw1 cylinder.

    Ordered a Kiwkset SC 1 stage cylinder, to replace the KW 1 cylinder my lock originally came with to rekey lock to key already in use in locks on existing doors, the SC 1 slage cylinder was elusive as other merchants seemed to be out of stock for me to order, I so happened to find UHS hardware through my google search and low and behold “In Stock “ I quickly purchased it, it arrived quickly even without expedited shipping, worked great on my lock no problems with rekeying, thanks UHS for having one in stock for me!     These are usefull

    If a customer has an Existing quickset keypad and the rest of the house is Schlage you can convert without the keypad I found them more useful than I thought I would. I can stock quickset keypad deadbolts and Service both quickset and Schlage Keyed houses.

    SC 1 keyway for kwikset locks

    SC1 keyways lock cylinders are extremely helpful when managing various existing residential and commercial property. Product is well made. No issues installing or resetting these when all the keys are lost. Saves time and money to just install a new cylinder in just a few minutes. UHS ships fast and always has what I need. Additionally another product (gate lock) only comes with kw1 cylinders but we can swap this out and have out sc1 keys work the gate locks
