The LCN 6400 COMPACT Series low-energy operator is a simple and cost-effective solution that enables facilities to automate more openings for touchless access and accessible operation. The modular design is unique and allows the reuse of an existing LCN 4040XP Series mechanical closer. The electrified module connects with a mounting plate and just four screws and drives open the mechanical closer. The simplicity of this solution reduces the cost, labor, and complexity required to automate an opening.

    • Adjustments can be made to the 4040XP Series mechanical closer using the regulation valves for main and latch speed

    • A wall adapter that can plug into a standard wall outlet is provided and converts 120V down to 24V
    • A power supply, such as the Von Duprin PS902 or the Locknetics LP250 can be used in place of the wall adapter if that is preferred
  • Peripherals
    • The COMPACT solution has an actuation input and can power a standard RF receiver
    • The RF receivers and transmitters will come pre-programmed when purchased as part of 6440-3813W or 6440-2210 kits
    • The target application for this product is free-swinging doors; for latching applications, additional hardware is required, such as an electric strike, power supply, and relay/option boards
