The Sandstrom Poxylube CP-200 Film Lubricant is a one-part, air-drying, dry-film lubricant delivered via aerosol (spray). When applied, it forms a thin, solid film coating that lubricates surfaces without the drawbacks of oils (such as running off, attracting dust, or evaporating). It is suitable for both metallic and nonmetallic substrates, and is designed to resist moisture, corrosion, and provide enduring lubrication in moving parts subject to friction, wear, or potential seizing.

Features:

  • Easy to apply — aerosol spray application, with included straw/nozzle for tight or hard-to-reach areas
  • Self-bonding / adherent film — minimal surface prep needed, film adheres to surfaces (metallic or non-metallic)
  • Non-migrating — the lubricant remains in place under heat, pressure, or vibration; it does not “run off” or drip
  • No drips or stains — due to solid film behavior and low volatility
  • Quick drying / cure — under standard ambient conditions, dries in about 1–3 minutes for service; full cure in similar timeframe
  • Wide operating temperature range — suitable for typical mechanical environments
  • Resistant to environment — unaffected by water, humidity, or normal temperature fluctuations; resists corrosion
  • Long life / wear resistance — helps prevent seizure and extends component life
  • Clean in use — minimal residue, no messy oils; suitable where cleanliness matters
