When Working with AK90 Programmer:

  • Must use the small circuit board for the reading
  • Select "2L86D" in the AK90 Software

When Working with X-PROG Programmer:

  • No need for the small circuit board
  • Select “MC9S12-EEPROM-secured” under "MCU/MPU” in the X-PROG software

When Working with R270 Programmer:

  • Must use the longer cable
  • Select “ 2L86D” when prompted to select software and then select the type of reading you wish to do “ EPROM or FLASH”
